Old Fashioned
2 oz. Bourbon or Rye Whiskey
4 drops of bitters
Fresh orange peel
Add a sugar cube into your old-fashioned glass, then add 3 to 4 drops of bitters and muddle or add a teaspoon of simple syrup. Add your bourbon or rye and stir, then add ice and stir again. Lastly, take your fresh orange peel, twist it and place it on top of the ice to garnish.

Wine of the Week
Carol Shelton Wild Thing Old Vine Zinfandel, Mendocino County – $17
Juicy flavors of plums and raspberries. Notes of peppercorns, as well as cigar box, baking spices, and black cherries on the finish. Great with a spice filled dinner or a night with a book next to the fireplace.
