Snoop Dogg has announced the release date for his highly anticipated new album “Missionary,” produced entirely by Dr. Dre, with social post reading: “‘Missionary’ album drops 12.13. Produced by @drdre”

“Missionary,” which is being billed as the sequel to Snoop’s 1993 debut “Doggystyle,” is set for release on Dec. 13. It marks the first full-length collaboration between Dre and Snoop since “Doggystyle.”

Missionary features contributions from 50 Cent and Eminem (both on the song ‘Gunz N Smoke’), Tom Petty, Jelly Roll, Jhene Aiko, BJ The Chicago (for two tracks ), Sting, and more, and will include frequent collaborators Dem Jointz and Cocoa Sarai.

Dre and Snoop have worked together over the years — first on Dre’s 1992 solo album “The Chronic,” later on tracks like “Still D.R.E.” and “Forgot About Dre,” at the 2022 Super Bowl with Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige, and most recently performing during the Paris Olympics closing ceremony.
