Bluegrass Day is back for Summer at the Green 2021! You won’t want to miss this incredible lineup featuring bluegrass legend Del McCoury and his band, the Watkins Family Hour (led by Sean and Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek fame), and local favorites Fog Holler.
Even among the pantheon of music’s finest artists this year’s headlining artist Del McCoury stands alone. Now helming the Del McCoury Band, with sons Ronnie and Rob, the ensemble is a peerless torchbearer for the entire sweep and scope of bluegrass history.
Also joining the bill is brother sister duo of Nickel Creek, Sara and Sean Watkins. As Watkins Family Hour, the siblings seamlessly weave together sounds of bluegrass, folk, country, and rock into something fresh and exciting.
Fog Holler is a fast-growing sensation in the world of bluegrass and acoustic music, born from an intense love of early country and traditional American music shared by Casey Holmberg, Noa Laniakea, and Tommy Schulz.
